"Sixteen-year-old Dusty Everhart breaks into houses late at night, but not because she’s a criminal. No, she’s a Nightmare.
Literally.

Being the only Nightmare at Arkwell Academy, a boarding school for magickind, and living in the shadow of her mother’s infamy, is hard enough. But when Dusty sneaks into Eli Booker’s house, things get a whole lot more complicated. He’s hot, which means sitting on his chest and invading his dreams couldn’t get much more embarrassing. But it does. Eli is dreaming of a murder.

Then Eli’s dream comes true.

Now Dusty has to follow the clues—both within Eli’s dreams and out of them—to stop the killer before more people turn up dead. And before the killer learns what she’s up to and marks her as the next target." - Goodreads

SPOILER FREE REVIEW

You probably have not heard of this book because it is one of those books that are overshadowed. I picked it up because I just browsing Indigo with my $10 gift card and I saw that nice cover. The book sounded like a nice cute fun read and that was exactly what it was. The characters were fun but kind of were the same. Dusty was likeable and sarcastic but didn't develop at all. The mean girl character I wanted to punch, yeah she made me violent. Which was probably what the author wanted so we were on team Dusty. The plot was  entertaining. Though I guessed who was part of Team Evil, but the author had me doubt it throughout the book. The only thing that turned me into a squid of angry was the way the author formed one phrase. That phrase was 'I have to do that/this' the way I wrote it here is how I say it. The author phrased it like this 'I've got to do this/that". You don't 'got' to do anything, you have to! Sorry that was just really annoying.  Maybe it was just like that because the author is from Ohio, oh well. Dialogue was okay and just the book was okay.

If you are looking for a book that will get you out of  reading slump pick this book out.
